完形填空是英语最后一道题型。根据往年的考试情况来看，很多考生没有时间做完形填空这一部分考题。所以，合理安排考试时间，是完形填空考题取得好成绩的最重要因素。完形填空题是整个考试中，最简单的题型。参加过高考的人都知道，做一个完形填空题花的时间可能超过两道阅读题，但是得分却很低？四级考试中此题每个选择题才占0。5分，和阅读理解每道题所占的分值相差很大。我认为，对于完形填空，命题者的真正意图不是考查你的知识水平，而是考查你是否会合理安排时间！
下面为大家介绍完形填空解题三个策略：
1. 要认真阅读原文。
2. 注意句与句，段与段之间的内在联系，以免前后“撞车”。
3. 短语词组搭配。

在第 1题中，adapt动词常与“to”搭配，表示“适应”，因此，技巧之一要注意动词或词组的搭配。第2题中，也是习惯搭配be /become accustomed to sth./doing sth.表示“习惯于……”，其中“to”为介词，注意上下文联系，“to seeing”正好符合要求。第3题中关键是抓住空白处后的介词“of”，of前后是同格关系，即“seeing for others”(替听众看)和空白处所要填入的名词表示同一意思。
