英语四六级听力蒙题技巧

一．听力对话“题眼句”

1．  否定+比较=非常的肯定

I don’t think we can get a better book / player.

I’ve never seen a worse movie.

I can’t agree with you more

We hadn’t played worse.

You could never be too careful when you drive on highways.

You can never be too cautious when you live next to a wolf .

否定+最高级=这算什么呀？还有更。。。。。。的呢。

You haven’t seen the worst of it yet.

It’s by no means the best idea.

2. First 和 Last特殊用途

Jack is always the first person you want to get to know in any class.

Rock 和Roll is almost the last thing she enjoys.

John is the last person I want to talk with at this moment.

3.不定代词+but

We sell nothing but the best.

The report I’m working on is anything but easy.

It can be anywhere but in the cabinet.

4. Bother

Why bother?

Why bother her ? I ….

No bother at all .

5. 早跟你说。。。。。。，后悔了吧！

I told you it would be better if you……But why do you always wait until the last minute?

I told you yesterday ……

6. Quite

Quite an experience!

He is quite a doctor .

7.拒绝

I’d love to , but…..

I mean to , but….

It sounds a great idea , but …..

8.表示理解并安慰

It’s too bad you didn’t make it .

二．听力对话无赖原则

1．喜欢安静

希望自己的resident在quiet suburbs，而不是 noisy cities .

吃饭挑一个quiet place

去图书馆学习，因为那里是一个ideal place for study ,没有terrible noises

Roommate经常制造噪音，因此决定 move out of the current apartment

Hotel is too close to the central downtown area/airport/ station and I can’t bear the noises .希望 找一个安静一点的售票窗口有a long waiting line或者 a big noisy waiting crowd ,不想凑热闹， come back for the next show  发现the bus was too crowded , 决定wait for the next one

2．  健身减肥

不吃desserts或者其他fat-rich foods

不希望gain weight , 有时有必要take on a diet in order to lose /reduce weight

应该进行regular exercises to keep fit

3．  生意兴隆

restaurant is always full at lunch time,所以最好要reserve a table in advance

去theater 观看电影和演出的人很多，经常需要wait in a long queue , 经常出现tickets are sold out / booked up的情形

住hotel的人也很多，经常没有 vacant room any more了

去观看art exhibition , concert , opera , drama 等比较高雅艺术的人就更多了

4.天气恶劣

Weather forecast 经常会预报有big storm或者heavy fog/ rain等，visibility was relatively low/poor

天气要么Terribly hot ,要么awfully cold , 一般少有mild weather

糟糕的天气必定影响人们出门travel的mood,甚至有时have to cancel the travel plan because of the bad weather

希望能有nice day , 因为只有这样才能travel , go the seaside或者是take the outdoor activities

5.繁忙

一般都很忙，尤其是professor ,doctor  这样从事比较重要工作的人，经常fully occupied  或者 have a heavy schedule

很少有人have nothing to do ,just kill the time

经常要work for extra hours /overtime

非常渴望有vacation或者是 weekends ,才能拥有一些leisure time

做事情一般都in a hurry ,怕迟到或者来不及

寻找某人，一般nowhere to find

6.不富有

经常买real bargains ，或者直接去discount shops

由于经济原因，通常需要share the same apartment with other people

购买家具经常买used furniture，因为can’t afford the new ones

衣服很 old ，而且out of date，但因为没钱，所以还得wear it

打电话都on weekends or holidays when the telephone rate is down 50%

7,找工作困难

希望尽快找到工作，所以很重视 application letter ,reference letter 等材料以及interview等

不是很好找，经常需要不断地hunt for jobs

一旦找到，自然是非常 excited，并且决心要好好干

8．不言放弃，向前看

不应该因为一次的failure就想 give up / quit，伟大人物都曾经经历过repeated failures

过去的就过去了，不要多想

要相信自己，只要努力，就一定能make it

9. 教授赞歌

热爱教学和科研工作，一点都不觉得boring，觉得很challenging，切工作态度非常认真、负责

非常忙，日程很满

对学生很严格，体现在无论是留的作业还是出的试卷都挺难的

10.热爱大自然

喜欢外出旅游，尤其是到野外，回归自然

大学生的日常生活当中不应该有太重大的事情发生（诸如飞机坠毁等），即使有事，后果也不应该过于严重
