　　Taihu Lake, the third largest freshwater lake in China only next to Poyang Lakeand Dongting Lake, is located in the eastern part of China with an area of 2,250 square kilometers. There are about 90 islands in Taihu Lake , which range in size from a few square meters to a few square kilometers.
