不少童鞋在阅读时遇到生词就发蒙，遇到长难句就不知所云，影响了做题的情绪，文章读懂了，但是题目却做不对，没有找到线索句，只能草草作答。还有的童鞋时间安排不合理，文章来不及读直接蒙个答案。那么造成这些困惑的根源无非就是以下几个方面：基础词汇基础语法掌握不扎实;不了解题型特点;缺乏答题技巧;考前练习不到位;缺乏坚定的信念和毅力。
因此，首先需要把握文章的特点。
阅读文章大多来源于英美报刊上的文章，逻辑性较强，承载着英美人特有的思维方式，及英美浓厚的文化、历史、语言特征。并且是以说明文和议论文为主。
对于文章中的词汇问题，一方面考生要在考前认真积累，另一方面在考场上考生可以根据上下文逻辑关系、语法或构词法来推测陌生词。
例：When men and women lived by hunting 50000 years ago, how could they even begin to picture modern life? 根据上下文语境picture在此是构想的意思。
再次，需要掌握高效的解题技巧。
在做题时，考生要能分辨出是什么题型，然后根据不同的题型确定具体的做题步骤，但是都要注意三步：定位、替换、排除。最主要是根据线索句与选项进行同义替换。
最后，一定要脚踏实地的练习。
建议童鞋以练习真题为主，分析真题的特点，以模拟题为辅，只有经过踏实的练习后，方能在考场上自如的答题。
