Playing Popeye*
The man who played Popeye sponged off the dirt from another hard days work at the studio. He was really sick of spinach, but that was his specialty and what the spectators demanded. And he always sparkled when the crowd was happy. Who cares if they didn’t know that the spinach was rich with spices and tasted more like spaghetti than a vegetable. His spectacle pleased them and they bought enough souvenirs to keep him from spiraling out of business. His business was good and soon to be solvent.
