该词本意是指洗衣店。但是在听力中，会用来借指洗衣服的工作。

该词本身作为一个基本动词并无什么难度，但是它频频在听力中出现的各种用法我们不得不掌握一下。

You look great.
你看上去气色很好。
You look awfully nervous.
你看上去很紧张。
All of my clothes look so old and I can't afford something new.
