An impressive course in My College Life
On many campuses, it has been a prevalent tendency for universities and colleges to open various elective and compulsory courses. As is often the case, students have different preferences to attend the courses so that course-takers can greatly benefit from the curricula which shape their thinking abilities in many aspects. Among all those courses, the one that has impressed me most is World Literature.
I have benefited a lot from the unique course "World Literature" taken in my college. On a regular basis, there are several factors accounting for my preference. Initially, I take great interest in literature and was especially charmed by the prestige of the lecturer who instructed this course in a way enlightening our mind. Additionally, courses like World Literature act as a beneficial supplement to my college studies. Since nowadays companies are laying great emphasis on a candidate's practical skills, moral standard as well as psychological quality, all-round development in curriculum is a necessity for graduates. Last but not least, reading literature helps cultivate my patience, perfect my selfhood, broaden my mind and vision, and motivate my critical and independent thinking, which further boost my preference above.
Thanks to this course, I am now an attentive and alert reader. To sum up, no one can underestimate the indispensable role of the course taken. For one thing, schools should set more comprehensive and practical curricula for college students and an appropriate assessing method for students' all round development. For another, each course has different benefits; therefore, we should select the ones that are suitable for us according to our needs.

本次四级考试的写作依旧与2013年6月和12月的和四级的图画作文模式不同，与2014年6月考试很相似，一改"模板"式写作的弊端，反押题的模式十分明显，又重新回到了话题作文的形式，并且所给话题也是考生非常熟悉的，很容易展开思路，所以对考生的写作的语言质量提出了更高的要求，不能一味僵化背诵模板。更令我们感到惊喜的是今年的作文虽然有三个话题，但是话题设定的背景信息是趋同的，第一套题： 大学获益的一门课；第二套题： 印象最深的校园活动 第三套题： 印象最深的一个同学。第一套题和2007年12月的四级真题提纲式写作-大学选修课很相似，第二套题和2008年6月的四级真题分析利弊式写作-大学生的娱乐活动的思路很相似，从这点看出真题复习对于我们之后的六级的备考有着很强的借鉴作用。最后祝愿大家考试成功，高分通过。
