Online shopping is gaining its popularity at an amazing rate in recent years. It seems that almost everything is available online and ready for sales, ranging from clothes to books and from toys to digital devices.
Clearly, shopping online has both its advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, it offers tremendous convenience to shoppers because they can do their day-to-day shopping on the internet simply by clicking the mouse. This means much more time can be saved and a wider range of products can be provided. But on the other hand, some problems associated with online shopping will also arise. For example, the quality of the product can not be guaranteed if people choose to shop online, in particular some digital products such as mobile phones and cameras. Reliability of the shop-keepers could be another problem. A recent study reveals that a large number of cyber customers complain about the delay in product delivery or even not receiving any goods after the payment has been made.
To conclude, despite some potential risks posed by online shopping, I am firmly convinced that its advantages are far greater than its disadvantages. My suggestion is that some laws on regulating online shopping should be made in order to ensure the quality and the service. Only in this way can we promote the customer's satisfaction.
